Cason and his other girlfriend Victoria were pooped from giggling and playing and eating so they decided to just rest for a while. (Don't worry Avery, Victoria is younger, so you are still Cason's "older woman"!! - at 19 months old haha!)

Yes, the little ones were actually able to nap in the heat. Thank goodness Terry & Jadie brought their tent for some shade!

Sunday night we (sort of) watched the Hall of Fame game which is the official-unofficial (depends on who you ask) start of football season! EVERYONE in our house was so excited that it's finally here!! We even had Cason in his Mojo D jersey last night to "watch" the game.

Yes he seemed more interested in rolling around in his walker, but the game was on so that's why we said "sort of"... =o)

Cason is still working on perfecting his crawling skills, but for right now, it's more of a balance, then teeter to one side or the other then PLOP forward! =o)

It did end up getting pretty hot during the day, but luckily there were trees and tents for shade. The guys were their usual funny selves, of course.

Plus, ,there were other kids to play with and Mommies to chat with, so it was a fun day for everyone.

Unfortunately, the guys lost their first game, but played through all day. They won the losers bracket finals, but the last game proved to be just too much. They guys lost the (first) championship game, but came in second overall. Not a bad day's work if you ask us.

Our sweet little angel has grown into an amazing 7 month old little boy and luckily it's been with only a few growing pains - 1 high fever, 2 colds, 35 snotty noses, 1 mild ear infection, 6 teeth, and a very bad (and recent) bout with diaper rash. Of course he managed to SMILE through it all!

Cason's 6th tooth finally cut through and hasn't given him any problems. We figured over the last few days that his tooth-cutting was on pause for a bit, and then he started gnawing and drooling again like a mad man. Sure enough, there is 1, possibly 2 more coming on the bottom. Gaga was right - he'll be ready for a steak bone VERY soon!!

Such a chatterbox at times too. He loves talking to Denny (the dino) on the way to Momma G's in the morning.
