Mommy & Me, part 2

Sunday morning we woke up and went to church and out for lunch with some friends. Later in the day we went to the playground. It had been very cold and rainy the last few days so we were only outside for a little while. But Cason really needed to burn off some excess energy!!

Mommy & Me

Daddy was away for the weekend on a church retreat with the men so Cason & I had a very special Mommy & Me weekend. We woke up early on Saturday morning and went to our special place, Cracker Barrel, for breakfast. Love my special one-on-one time with the lil man! He's growing up so fast!!

After breakfast we went to Shuckle's Pumpkin Patch for some fall outdoor fun & pick another pumpkin.

We played basketball, cornhole, football, LOTS of putt putt type golf, slides, and much more! It was an awesome day that led into an awesome nap for us both!!! =)

We had a very busy morning, but the afternoon was nice and chill! After our nap and a late lunch, we snuggled on the couch and watched Cars and Nemo. Just love my lil man!!

It's the Great Pumpkin!

This year, we went to pick out our family pumpkin from the huge selection at the Methodist church. Their proceeds go towards funding some of their missions and we were happy to help support them.
OH MY GOODNESS at the number of pumpkins they had. They were everywhere!! Big ones, little ones, bumpy ones, smooth ones, tiny ones, and even some that were painted. Cason had a blast trying to pick just the right pumpkin. Finally we settled on a few pumpkins instead of just one!
