Chipper Jones Farewell Tour 2012
In early August, we took (what is quite possibly) our last trip of the year to see the Braves play. It was only one game, but it was a night game and it was "Chipper Jones Bobblehead Night" as the giveaway!! We met G&G in Atlanta for one last hoorah this season and enjoyed our last chance to see Chipper play at home.
Awesome fact about Cason's Daddy: He played baseball against Chipper in high school!! Pretty cool huh?!! To this day he still says that Chipper hit the farthest home run he had ever seen out of dead centerfield when they played in Macclenny!! I think we may even still have the scorebook from that game in our storage. That would be awesome to find, wouldn't it? I think Daddy just quadrupled his coolness!
We had fantastic seats in the outfield, and I mean Fan-tas-tic! We got to watch batting practice and Cory Gearrin (one of the Braves pitchers) even gave Cason a batting practice ball! Needless to say, we had an amazing time!!

It was hot at first, but finally cooled off and got comfortable

Daddy had to explain to Cason that the players had to go change uniforms and get ready for the game. They would be coming back out of the dugout in just a few minutes. Previously, we hadn't sat close enough for us to actually be able to explain that part of the game. It was precious seeing him watch the players every move.

Another great day at the ballpark!!
The next day was bittersweet because we had to leave Atlanta. We stopped at Golfsmith outlet for a while for Daddy to shop and Cason to explore. Each of the guys could have stayed for hours but we had to (finally) get on the road. Cason picked out a bucket of balls for him to practice his putting, chipping and driving.

Reading Rainbow
I was in the kitchen the other day, and noticed that Cason had been awfully quiet. When I looked in the living room, he was on the couch with a stackful of books. I asked him "Hey buddy, whatcha doin' in there?", and he answered "Just reading". I cracked up when I got a closer look at what he was actually reading! Silly, silly boy! Don't ya just love him?!!

I am a firm believer that you can never have too many pictures of your sleeping baby. They will be grown up soon enough, and you'll want to look back and remember how precious they are!!
Happy Birthday Rosie
We were invited to Rosie's birthday party this year at Hippity Hop, the indoor inflatable playground. Oh my goodness, Cason had so much fun! As soon as we arrived, Isaiah grabbed Cason's hand and they were off playing, running, jumping and almost flying through the air. All the kids really had a blast!
