Mother's Day 2012
We also like to call it "Mommy's Mother's Day Weekend Extravaganza!!!"
Our special weekend started on a Friday night when my two very special guys took Mommy out to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. The atmosphere was cool, the food was great & the company was the best!

After dinner we walked through Opry Mills Mall and the guys took me to the Vera Bradley Outlet to pick out a new purse. I had been wanting a new one for a while, so this was quite a treat!!
I LOVE IT!!
Saturday was a lazy day and it was terrific. We slept in and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Later that day we did a little more shopping and went to Outback for an early Mother's Day dinner. Steak, check! Salad, check! Cinnamon Apple Beignet's, oh check yea!! YUM!
Mother's Day is such a special day. It's an opportunity to remember our mothers, give thanks to God for our family, and be reminded of how much we love one another. How grateful I am that God blessed me with being this little boy's mother. That He chose me to be a partner with his father in raising him. I'm humbled at His graciousness!!
After church and a chinese food lunch, we headed home and took a 3 hour nap - Ahhh! Then we went to the park to feed the ducks. It had been raining off and on all day, so we weren't there long, but still enjoyed ourselves.

Pool time
Our friends Scott and Lisa invited us over to their house to swim and grill out recently. We are in the same Sunday School class and they are big Gator fans like us so of course, they're awesome! =)
We were the first guests in their new pool. It even has little fountains and a sitting area. It's NIIIICE! Cason really enjoyed the water, it was sooo warm and they even had a little boat for him to float in. But mostly he LOVED playing with the fountains that shoot water back into the pool. Even after he was dry and dressed to go home, he was still playing in them! Adorable!!
Scott had turned the water off and the fountains were disappearing..

Good Times at BWW
Cason is getting too big. He has officially outgrown the high chair at BWW and is now in a big boy booster seat. He loves the freedom & even gets his own kids meal now!!
And once he's full he can just lean back, relax and watch some baseball on the big screens...

Drive Thru Car Wash
Cason is NOT a fan!
There is no worse feeling than knowing your child is scared.
However, in true Cason style, after it was over, he clapped "YEAAAA!!!"

The Carousel
Cason had his first carousel ride when we went to visit Opry Mills recently. We weren't sure what he would think of it, so we told him if he ate all of his lunch, he could ride it. He could not eat lunch fast enough!!! He picked out his very own horse and even had Daddy ride with him!
