About 3 weeks ago, Mommy stayed home with Cason.  He had a pretty bad cough and didn't sleep very well, so we decided it was best if he stayed home to recover.  Well, he thought the rattles in his throat and chest were pretty cool - cool enough to create a new sound. 

I tried so hard not to laugh out loud when I recorded it!

Last week the weather was so great that we pretty much played outside every single day!  Playing outside consists of going to the playground, playing golf, playing ball, playing trucks and of course riding our "cycle" (pronounced 'SHY-coal' by Cason, so stinkin' cute!).  He has started to get more and more confident riding so we thought we'd let him go and see how he did on his own.  All I can say is WOW!  What a big boy we have! So very proud of him!

Sunday morning was Easter Sunday and we were up early to head to church to celebrate Jesus's resurrection!!  It was a very happy, busy day and we enjoyed it to the fullest!  We had a yummy breakfast, headed to church for worship, back home to open our Easter basket, had an Easter egg hunt, ate a delicious celebratory lunch and then a much needed family nap.

Yaya came to town for a late birthday/Easter visit recently & Cason was so happy! Friday we hung out, and went to visit the Easter Bunny, then came home to eat, play and nap. That evening, we went to church for our Good Friday service to commemorate the crucifixion and take the Lord's Supper. Cason opened a few Easter gifts after bathtime and loved them all! We are so blessed with such a wonderful family to share this very special holiday!!
