You can definitely see (and feel) that fall is here!

It was only 44 degrees this morning. WOW!!

Looks like Momma G had some fun putting out her fall decorations.

This was her front porch this morning when arrived to bring Cason.

We went to see Cason's pediatrician Dr. Johnson on October 6

for our 9 month check up.

Cason is a healthy 28.5 inches long & a hefty 23 pounds!!

That means we're getting taller and not missing many meals!

We were ALL happy to hear that we're caught up on our immunizations so that meant NO SHOTS!! Well, except for one. We had to get the flu shot booster, and go back in 30 days for the other shot. Cason was a cutie pie too because he literally fell asleep in Daddy's lap while talking football with Dr. Johnson. So Daddy handed him to me and he got partially redressed, but left his jeans off for the booster shot in his left leg. =o(

Celina, Dr. Johnson's nurse, requested that we wake him up a little bit because she didn't want to give him his shot while he was asleep. (It makes babies heart rate jump to give a shot when they're sleeping and she prefers not to do that - and we appreciate that!!)

We tried to wake him up, even laid him on his back, but he only stirred a little bit. So we tried to make him sit up and frankly, that just ticked him off, but enough to keep him awake for a few seconds to get the shot. He was more upset that we had woken him up than he was about the shot. Then he crashed!!!

..... see I thought this was a marshmallow!!!
