The Chipmunks
On Tuesday, the weather was kind of icky, but it was a perfect day to head to the movies. So, after breakfast at G&G's, Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Danny & Auntie Carol took Cole, Emma and Cason to see the new Chipmunks movie "Chipwrecked". Cason just loves the Chipmunks, and this was going to be his first time watching a movie in the theater. He made it a full hour watching the movie before he needed to run around. After about a 10 minute break, he and Daddy came back and finished up the movie. (As a side note, Cason ate a TON of popcorn!!!)

After the movie, we went to the playplace in the mall for the kids to blow off some steam. Being still for that long to watch a movie can really make a kid stir crazy!!!
We left the mall and went by Sams to pick up a few things, and then, while we were heading home, he learned how to watch Phineas & Ferb on Auntie Carol's iPhone.
And then of course, sometimes sleepy little boys will just give up and crash! Cason grabbed a nap on the way home, after having a great time at the mall and the movies.

More presents?!?!
We left Yaya's house and headed to Gamma & Gaga's so we could get a nap and then head over to Aunt Holly & Uncle Danny's (UncleDannyGreatestUncleEverLived!). We played for a while then had dinner, and then we extended Christmas for one more day and the kids exchanged gifts. The little guy racked up with a new Cars 2 racetrack, books, clothes, Lego's & puzzles. We had a blast watching the kids play with their new toys!

Christmas Trip
The day after Christmas we woke up very early to get on the road to Florida. We were worried about traffic, but it was practically non-existent (which is such a blessing when it comes to holiday travel)!! Cason started the trip in comfy pj's, mostly because we were leaving so early, and Mommy & Daddy figured he would fall back to sleep on the road, which he did!!

After finishing up his "road nap", and a small bout of tummy troubles, we changed clothes, got some food and were back on the road to Florida!

We arrived in Florida in the early afternoon, which was great because that gave us plenty of time to play with our new tricycle. Of course we brought it with us! Santa would be sad if we left it at home! First, we stopped by Yaya's, so she could see the new ride.

Christmas Day
After breakfast, we finally got to play with our new toys. Um, I mean, Cason finally got to play with some of HIS new toys!! We even stayed in our pjs all day long! Cason loved the Chuck Truck race track that makes sounds... and he loves counting 1....2....3.... when he's getting ready to press the start button to make them take off!! He & Mommy played with the trucks for quite a while!

We even made a birthday cake for Jesus.
It's a very special day to celebrate!!
Of course Cason had to try a piece!
After cake, it was bathtime and bedtime. We had to rest up because in the morning we were heading back to Florida to visit family for Christmas! Yea!!!
We are such a very blessed little family!
