Tiny Tiger
One of Cason's new things to do is to growl. Ok, so technically it's not growling, per se, but it sure sounds like he wants it to be a growl. He's mimicing Daddy with his funny, loud grumbling sounds. I love how he puts his hands on Daddy's face when they're "talking".....Too precious!

Memorial Day
Ah yes.... the first unofficial sign of summer!

It's finally Memorial Day and we had the best time. The pool at our complex finally opened and after anxiously waiting, we were able to take full advantage of it. We had our Mommy & Me float (or Daddy & Me float, depending on who was using it), we had our floaty noodle, towels, sunscreen, hats, cover-ups, sunglasses, the works! We were ready for the water!!
He's not so sure about this just yet

We also spent some time this weekend just being lazy and playing with our toes!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
Cason, Mommy & Daddy celebrated their very first Mother's Day together on May 9, 2010. It was this time last year that we found out that we were going to have this wonderful new person in our lives - and now he's here!! What a great day!!!

Mommy was treated to church with the family, then brunch at Blackeyed Pea, and then lots of treats! Cason & Daddy gave her a new CD, an adorable plaque, and a digital picture frame. Absolutely LOVE IT ALL!!!

4 months old
Wow!!
Cason is 4 months old today!!
My, oh, my how the time flies. Seems like just yesterday......
Thank you Lord for our many, many blessings!!
At our 4 month check up he weighed in at 17lbs and were 24.5 inches long!!!

How is it that the time has flown so quickly?!!
Our little boy who was so tiny at one point
is now starting to CUT TEETH at 4 months!!!
Yep, those little buds you see are teeth and they could be in anyday!!

Big Boy Bath
We totally have this bathtime thing down pat.
So much so that we don't even need the tiny baby sling
that goes on top of the tub anymore.
We finally took it off and now Cason just sits back and relaxes during bathtime (sort of!)
Of course, from time to time he kicks and splashes too because, well, he can!!! =o)

Rolly Polly
It's almost that time! Cason's starting to learn to roll around. Sometimes going from side to side, either on his back or tummy. He's almost got the hang of it. If only he could realize that his arm is keeping him from completely rolling over.........

Nature Walk
The same day that we took the camo pictures, Cason and I went for a walk around Drakes Creek Park. I looked down to see him go from alert to tired to falling completely asleep with his fingers in his mouth. I grabbed the camera as soon as I could but all you could see what the fingers falling from his mouth as he fell deeper and deeper asleep. It was so cute! He's just amazing!!!

Camo Cason
Yaya and Papa Clayton bought Cason a cute little camouflage onesie and overalls and asked for some pictures in them while we were in Florida. Time got away from us while we were there, and we weren't able to get the pictures that they requested (with Papa Clayton, Cason and the rifle that Papa Clayton is passing down to him). So Cason and Mommy headed up to the park to get some pictures that might be a good substitute, for now.

Meeting Aunt Chrissy
On April 6 Grampa had back surgery to correct some pain issues he had been having. Mommy & Cason drove over to Memphis to be with Grama Tracey while Grampa had surgery so she wouldn't be lonely and worry. Aunt Chrissy also came and it was the first time she was able to meet Cason in person. She lives in Memphis too with Uncle Johnny, and Cason's cousins "little" Johnny & Abigail. She had seen lots of pictures, but wasn't able to see him and hold him yet. She just ate him up!!
Aunt Chrissy likes to laugh alot like me and Mommy!
(BTW - Grampa's surgery went GREAT and he's up and at-em and back to his ole self!! Way to go Grampa!!)
Cason's First Easter
Cason's First Easter is finally here!!

Earlier in the week, we went to get Cason's picture taken with the Easter Bunny and he absolutely adored it. He laughed, smiled and giggled so much, we had SEVERAL pictures to choose from. We say it all the time but he's just the best baby E-VER!!!
We had a wonderful day of Easter baskets,

and Giggles!!!
The whole family (all 3 of us) had such a fantastic First Easter together!

We walked into Cason's room the other day when we heard him stirring from his afternoon nap and this is how we found him. Too flippin' cute!!!
I'm sure he was contemplating "Hmmm.... Will I play basketball, football or baseball?...."
