It was painful watching the Florida vs. Florida State game this year. Just painful! But watching Cason discover his new love of Starbursts (and Can-neee in general) was sooo flippin' adorable!!

After our hike to the river and a really good, long nap, we all went back to Uncle Danny & Aunt Holly's house for dinner and more family fun! It was so great to get together with ALL of the family - watching the kids play together, catching up over the bonfire, sharing a great meal! We had a fantastic time!

The River

After leaving the fire station, we headed to the river for lunch and our new tradition - the annual Knight Family Thanksgiving weekend hike at the St. Mary's River. We saw horses as we were unpacking lunch and then we were off on our hike. All the kids, actually everyone, had a blast and of course mayhem ensued!!

It was awesome!!

We finally made it to the river and Cason made a bee-line for it!! I have a feeling that he was having more fun than anyone at this point!!

And now the shirt is soaked and HAD to come off!!

Cason had the best time running back and forth from the shore into the water and back. He was cracking us all up with his Sumo wrestler stance!

After we left the river, it was snack time and then back to G&G's for a long nap!!

Fire Trucks!!

What a treat! Auntie Carol arranged for all the kids (and families) to get a tour of the Glen St. Mary volunteer fire department house and trucks the day after Thanksgiving. It was a neat treat for all of us - Gamma, Gaga & Auntie Carol; Mommy, Daddy & Cason; Uncle Danny, Aunt Holly, Emma & Cole; Uncle David, Aunt CJ, Kaitilin & Bryan. Even SportyMan was part of the fun!

Mr. Mark, the fire chief, taught us all about the trucks used, how the firemen respond to different fires, accidents, and the EMS services they provide. It was fun and educational for us all!
