More teeth...
Why oh why do growing pains have to hurt so much?!
The Captain had a rough few days recently with new teeth coming in - two top molars and two bottom canine. He started not feeling well, and generally just being clingy and whiney on Wednesday morning. By 7:45 am Momma G called and said that he was not feeling well, and he had a quickly rising fever of about 100.9. So Daddy took charge and headed out to get him so they could chill and cuddle at home. His temp rose and fell over the next day and a half, but by Friday he was back to his Awesome self. Bless his little, pea pickin' heart!!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Our "Eligible Bachelor" celebrated Valentine's day in style!!
He had a party at Momma G's with all his (girl)friends and pals where they swapped valentines and ate cookies. He also had dinner with Mommy & Daddy at Outback Steakhouse (always our favorite dinner companion). The best part of the day was getting to run around outside since it was sunny and beautiful!! Keeping Cason still to "pose" for the camera was another story....

Land of Bottles-no-more....
We are officially into the sippy cup stage now.
Quite possibly bypassing sippy cup & going straight to the straw cup altogether.

Love is in the air
On February 12, some very dear friends of ours, Jaydie & Terry were married. They are a precious couple who love the Lord & live life to the fullest! They have an adorable daughter Victoria, who is a few months younger than Cason. Jaydie also has another sweet daughter Makayla who is 8 years old.
The wedding was beautiful and we were so blessed to share in their special day.
Cason was my date, because Daddy had to work.
It's hard being THIS good looking, ya know?!

Cason is starting to become more and more interested in his books. Even though he's not quite sure what it is that he's doing, he sure looks like he does. Smart lil guy!!
He was very quiet in his room the other day. When we went to check on him, he was just sitting on the floor, thumbing through his Children's Bible. He's too precious!

Busy Sunday
What's a boy to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon
(the day after he turned 13 months old)?!
Well, you go for a walk, then you go play at the playground, of course. The weather was cold, much colder when the wind blew. But it was sunshiny and bright, much nicer than the weather had been for a while!

After our walk we went to the playground where Cason demonstrated his new climbing skills!!
