Happy Birthday Daddy!
Although we did celebrate on the actual day,
we didn't get a chance to post a very big
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!
And even though we had school and work that day....
(and some were none-to-happy about it)
....we made up for it by taking Daddy out for dinner to Longhorn to celebrate his day!
Plus we went shopping for new tennis shoes and "game day" shoes and that's always fun!!
Love you lots & lots!!
Hope you enjoyed your day as much as we did!
Happy B-Day!

Smiley Hollow Fall Festival
We had our church's fall festival at Smiley Hollow on October 16 and we had a BALL! We met up with a group of friends from our Sunday School Class for some play time!! They had little train rides, and bouncy houses, a hayride and all kinds of play things for the kids. And the food, WOW, the food was so yummy and it was everywhere!! Hot dogs, cotton candy and snowcones for the kids. Bbq pork, baked beans and hoecakes, coleslaw and corn on the cob, and LOTS of desserts.
We definitely did NOT hungry!
Warning!!
Cute picture overload ahead!!

(note the old train car in the back, very cool!)

The creek that ran along the property
A few antique cars on display
LOTS of bouncy houses for the kids
The very first thing we did was ride the train.
Cason saw it before we even got to the entrance and said CHOO CHOO.
So, of course, that was FIRST!
After our ride, we got our name tags and walked around the property looking at the old barn buildings and train cars. Then we headed over to the bouncy houses.
Cason met up with his buddy AJ and they had a blast!
OK, enough fun for now. Lets go eat!!
After dinner, which Cason ate LOTS of, we headed back out to play some more. This time it was "walking the log", which was a huge tree log that was raised off the ground and the smaller kids took turns walking across it. At the end you could walk down the ramp to get to the ground, but Cason preferred to slip down it like going down the slide. Too funny!!
Daddy & AnnaMarie helping Cason balance.
We had to ride the choo-choo one more time.
Mommy stealing kisses while waiting in line.
Somebody's getting sleepy....
After a few tears, we headed out on our last trip on the choo choo.
We had a great time with our friends and their kiddos as well as getting to know new friends at our church and Sunday School Class. We are so ready for fall now and all that this time of year has to bring.
We are thankful, humbled & blessed!
