Sunday May 20th was Family Dedication Day at our church.  This is a special day where each family dedicates their family & children to the Lord.  We have been wanting to take part in Family Dedication Day since Cason was born and have been unable until now. 

Finally, this special day arrived!!

G&G came to town to be part of it also, which means so much to us.  Several of our close friends from our Sunday School class & their children attended.  Our close friends Scott & Nicole were also there with their daughters Kaeleigh and Abigail.  We asked Scott if he would be a special part of the ceremony and read our family's dedication verse for us.  We didn't have many pictures from that day, just a few from my iPhone, but it doesn't take away from the meaning of this day.

Our dedication verse is so perfect for us as a family.

1 Samuel 1:27-28

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.

So very blessed for all that the Lord has given to us.

Who wouldn't love jogging with this lil guy?!!

Just saying...

A few mornings ago we were driving to Momma G's and Cason was very quiet.  We turned around and he was feeding, rocking and burping his baby dinosaur Denny.  Momma G has been watching Abby's baby sister Hannah (she's 3 months old) a few days a week and apparently Cason's been paying attention.  It was adorable watching him talk quietly, feed "the baby" and burp baby Denny.  Too precious!

 We love how excited he gets when he sees police cars, fire trucks and ambulances.  Every time he sees them it's like the FIRST time and he's so thrilled!!
