Our Christmas Tree
One of the best parts of Christmas is when we decorate the tree. Seeing Cason understand what Christmas is all about is just so special. We are celebrating baby Jesus's birthday and the tree is part of our decoration for his special day!!

Week 2 of Buddy
Cason has really enjoyed having Buddy at our house. Each morning he wakes up wanting to know where he is, and what he has been doing. He even offers him some of his morning banana from time to time (and that is a BIG deal). Mornings he says "Bye Buddy. Have a good day, Love you!", and before bed "Night Night Buddy, Love you". It's so sweet to see how he loves Buddy!
December 9 - Buddy found the treat jar of Skittles.
December 10- Buddy decided it was a good night for
the Where's Waldo puzzle.
December 11 - Buddy filling up on one of his 4 main food groups!
December 12 - Buddy was celebrating with the rest of the family.
Uncle Clayton's deployment is over and he's finally home.
Just in time for Christmas!!
December 13 - Sweet lil Buddy was resting after decorating the tree.
December 14 - Buddy left a sign for us "Look Outside".
He was busy all night putting up lights on the porch!
December 15 - Buddy went in for a Popsicle & got stuck!
At least he is used to the cold.

December 2 - A relaxing bubble bath.
December 3 - After a long flight back from the North Pole,
Buddy decided to do some reading in Cason's chair.
December 4 - Playing Farmer Buddy today.
December 5 - Xtreme Sports Buddy bungee jumping
from the entertainment center.
December 6 - Oh Buddy!!
December 7 - "Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh..."
December 8 - Silly Buddy, Santa hasn't filled the stockings yet!

Buddy the Elf
Saturday morning when Cason woke up, he came into the kitchen and saw that Buddy was back! Buddy is Cason's "Elf on the Shelf" that comes every year to visit from the North Pole. He watches Cason to make sure he's being a good boy & the reports back to Santa each night. He is a mischievous little elf for sure, but we are so happy to see he's back for the Christmas season. We have missed you Buddy!
Buddy found Cason's Charlie Brown Christmas book
& brought him a new elf straw cup!
I'm gonna wreck it!
Recently on Friday night, we had no plans & decided after dinner to go to the movies. Even though the Captain had already watched it, he really wanted to see Wreck It Ralph again. Or as he called it, "Rocky Road". Love date night with the guys!

Emma told me that she liked it when it was "just us" going to see the Christmas lights. So precious, right?! So of course Mommy, Cason and Emma went back just one more time to see the lights and have fun. Just us!

Christmas Lights
We decided it would fun one night to take the kids up to Heritage Park to see all the Christmas lights. We were right - they loved it! It was adorable how Emma & Cason were inseperable most of the night. So sweet!
Cason wanted to blow out the candles on the cake - so cute!!
