All Boy
Well, we guess it was bound to happen. I mean, Cason is all boy!
Daddy & Mommy were at work and got a phone call from his preschool. They said Cason was running up the steps for the slide when his foot slipped and he hit his head on the steps pretty hard. He had a pretty good gash in his forehead and looks like it might need a few...
(wait for it...)
STITCHES!!!
Of course at that point Mommy was in a panic, but Daddy was calm and the voice of reason. Just another boy badge, huh?! We got to school and picked up Awesome, called the doctor's office and scheduled a time to come in after lunch for Dr. Johnson to take a look. After he saw the cut was pretty deep, he sent us to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for stitches.
We weren't really sure how the little guy would do so we really had to wing it. He did pretty well while they waited for the numbing gel to take affect and a VERY hard time during the stitching. Who wouldn't?!! Especially being only 3 years old!!! But he was so brave and strong. Even got a popsicle afterwards.
3 stitches later & he was good as new!!
At Chili's for lunch before our doctor visit.
(I call this one "the calm before the storm".)
At Dr. Jonhson's office and not happy that we
removed the Spiderman band-aid
Playing in the waiting room at Vanderbilt
In his triage room, waiting for the numbing gel to take effect.
Daddy's buddy, not happy after his 3 stitches.
(sorry for the picture Auntie Carol)
The cherry popsicle helps a little....
... but some Mommy lovin' helps more!
My poor little baby boy =(

Bowling night
There's just nothing better than a family night of bowling. Mommy & Daddy were going to be off from work on Monday, so we decided it would be ok to stay out a little later than normal on Sunday evening for some bowling fun. Cason loved it, but we think Daddy may have loved it a little more!!

Super Bowl Sunday
Uncle Rico and Aunt LaFonda (our friends Jim & Jill) asked us over to their house to catch up and to watch the Super Bowl. It's really all about the commercials, right?... So while we were there, Cason fell in love with their dog and they became playtime buddies. Only problem is, we can't remember his name. Either way, they both had the best time eating, playing, and giggling (mostly Cason). These smiles are precious!!
So proud of his Vandy baseball Daddy found at the park
Hangin' with his new buddy in Uncle Rico's chair
Faking being asleep (both of them)!
Streeeeetch!!!
Pouting on the car ride home because we had to leave...
