Long post and Lots of Pictures ahead!!

The weekend of Aug 20-22, Cason's "girls" came to town to visit. YaYa, Aunt Cindy, Aunt Cincy & GranJan came to get some Cason-love and see the sights!!

Friday night we all went out to dinner - all 7 of us - to Black Eye'd Pea and sat around chatting & catching up for a while. Then we went back home for Cason to display his crawling skills & snuggle with his YaYa.

Saturday Cason, Mommy & the girls went to Franklin, Tennessee for some sightseeing and shopping. (Daddy took advantage of some downtime at home.) We had a great time - we "did lunch" at H.R.H. Dumplin's, then some shopping and of course (because it was so hot - wink wink) we had to stop for ice cream.

GranJan even spoiled the little man with his very first sock monkey. His name is Pogo!

After we left Franklin, we drove around downtown for a while to see the sights - The Country Music Hall of Fame, The Wildhorse Saloon, Music Row, etc. Then we stopped by Gigi's Cupcakes (Mommy's favorite) to pick up some "treats" for later.

So how does everyone like the new blog design?!!

Our friend Tracey, AKA Mrs. Tebow (hehe), designed it and it turned out EXACTLY the way we wanted it!! It's bright, cheerful and exciting - just like it's main subject, Cason!!

Recently we had some pictures taken at church for the new directory. While we were there, the photographer asked if there were any other poses we would like. DUH!! So of course, we figured we would go ahead and get Cason's 6 month pictures taken too.

We LOVE how well they turned out.

He was so good that day and was so "Cason"!!

Daddy's church team, Team SOS had a tournament - ISA Church World - this weekend in Mount Juliet and Mommy & Cason went to watch!! The guys ended up finishing 5th - not too bad if you ask us!! It was soooo HOT!!! Really, really hot!! H-O-T, hot!! It was only 98 degrees but the heat index made it feel like it was 105-ish!

Daddy tried his best to stay hydrated but still ended up not feeling well (he says he got bear-caught!), so he sat out the last game. Which was good, because he started to feel much better! Good call on bringing the water and Gatorade (No Powerade for us Gator fans!! haha!)

Momma G was "out sick" for 3 days last week

(she's doing much better now!),

so Daddy & Mommy took turns staying home with the little man.

Boy, did we have a fun time!!

Wednesday Cason & Mommy played, watched Phineas & Ferb

and later (after 2 naps) did LOTS of cleaning.

Thursday we watched sports ALL DAY LONG -

after waking up at 4:15 am!!!

He was ready to get his day with Daddy started &

watch the EARLY airing of SportsCenter!

Friday Cason & Mommy slept in, watched P&F again and played for most of the morning, until Daddy came home from work early. Then the REAL fun began!!! =o)
