Suppertime....
...was fun Sunday night.
After Cason ate dinner (oatmeal and pears), he was still a little hungry.
Could it be because he was WEARING alot of it?!
We usually give him a little formula afterwards but last night
he couldn't even wait until he was out of the highchair to get to his bottle!!!
He's so funny!!
Happy Father's Day!!!
Daddy celebrated his very FIRST Father's Day this year. We tried to make it extra special for him too!! Let's just say that napping was involved!! Daddy did ask a favor though - please NO "church clothes" pictures. (HAHAHAHA!!!!) He doesn't like to have his picture taken so we appreciate him letting us get a few snapshots of him on his special day.
YaYa sent him a really cool, one-of-a-kind, shirt that says "Cason's Daddy" with a little stick figure boy. It's just TOO cute & he wore it to church Sunday morning!! Such a proud Daddy!!
Gamma & Gaga sent him a very sweet card that says "Dreams really do come true!" and inside is a picture of Daddy & Cason right after he was born! He teared up on that one!! He even told Gamma "You trying to make a fella cry, or what?!!" =o)
Cason and Mommy gave him a really cool picture collage of just "Daddy & Me" pictures. He also got a framed picture of him with Cason at the Swamp in a frame that says "Daddy & Me". He got some training wiffle balls to practice his swing with and an IOU for some new sliding shorts. He also got a T-Shirt and Hat that says "#1 Dad!". (We looked and couldn't find any that said Best Daddy E-VER!!!)

Hanging out
We spent Saturday with some of the families from Daddy's church softball team. We love them!! First we all met at the church, then we traveled to Franklin, Tennessee where we spent some fun time with the kids from the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. We had lots of fun & fellowship with the kids, played wiffle ball in the gym (it was air conditioned! WHEW!!) and then we all gathered for some yummy Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, chips, drinks and candy. Later in the day we all went to a Nashville Sounds baseball game and the kids were just awesome!!

Ready for the weekend
Is it possible to have a busy week and a slow week all in one?!!! =o)
We didn't have alot going on this week, except for Tuesday, we went to watch Daddy & Team SOS play ball. We even had time to chill out and cuddle with Mommy at the park.
Cason wasn't feeling too well Thursday night and he woke up later in the night with a sick tummy (meaning he threw up all on his crib, on his sheets & blanket, on his clothes, in his hair, etc. Poor thing was just covered!). He even got sick one more time a little later, but then fell asleep so hard. He slept so well in fact, that Friday morning he woke up happy as a clam!! He was apparently happy that it was Friday too!!

Collage pictures
I've had a few people ask me lately what we do with all the photos we've taken. I mean, if you think about it, what are you going to do with 237 pictures of the little guys' toes, fingers, hands, nose, etc, hahahaha!! A friend-of-a-friend is a photographer and she makes a collage of pictures for babies and calls it "What Little Babies Are Made Of". I love the idea of taking some of those pictures and making the collage myself. The photos aren't professional quality, but the subject is AWESOME!! (Thank you for the inspiration Jennifer!!)
I'm still in awe of this little boy and what a wonderful miracle he is!! I wanted to do something special with his hospital portrait, so I decided to use some of my inspiration from the collage in it's display in our living room. We love it!
