Crazy hair!!
When we arrived at Momma G's on Friday afternoon,
Cason was just waking up from his afternoon nap.
He was napping on the couch with a fleece blanket
and woke up with CRAZY hair!!
We ALL got a good laugh to start our weekend with!!!

Pumpkin Patch time
Friday night we headed over to the pumpkin patch at Honeysuckle Hill Farms in Springfield. It's a great time of year to go too. The weather is starting to get crisp and it just smells like fall!
There were lots of things for the family to do like hay rides, a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, cow train, big jumping pillow, and lots more. Unfortunately we arrived a little late and it started to get dark pretty quickly. Most of the entertainment that Cason could enjoy closed as dusk/dark. =o(
So we decided to make the best of it and stay for a while, maybe head to the pumpkin patch area, maybe go on a hayride and walk the grounds to see what we could do next time. We even ran into our friend Emily and her daughter Allie. And of course, we had to snap a few pictures of the little man with some pumpkins that are HIS size!

The necklace
We've had several people ask about the necklace Cason has been wearing lately, so we thought that posting some info about it might be helpful to others.
I noticed a few months ago that a friend's son (Tracey's son Jack) wore one and I was curious. I found that it was for discomfort Jack was having with teething. And the necklace is made to wear, not to chew!!
Cason has been teething RAPIDLY, as many of you know - 8 months old and already 8 teeth with 4 more coming very soon!!! And it has not been without pain, drooling, icky pooh's and fevers as well. I was curious if there were any other methods for teething pain relief, and found out about amber's holistic properties.

Cason's necklace is made of Baltic Amber which is a natural analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-inflammatory. When it's worn on the skin, the amber is warmed by his body heat and it releases trace amounts of healing oils which his skin absorbs. Anything to help the little man with his teething pain and drooling is worth a try in my book. We've worn it for 4 days now, and so far we've already noticed a significant decrease in the amount of drool.
We're hoping that it keeps working.

Trick or Treat
After Cason had his bath last night,
we tried on our Halloween PJ's.
(Technically the PJ's were Cole's first,
(Technically the PJ's were Cole's first,
but we like to call them a "Cole special"!!)
Daddy was helping Auntie Carol on Skype to set up her iTunes,
which gave Mommy & Cason a chance to play!!!
I think someone is ready for Trick or Treat!!
