Heritage Park

One of the things we've been looking forward to while we are home is going to Heritage Park to look at the Christmas lights.  Yes, we know it's after Christmas, but the lights stay up (and on) through the New Year.

We had promised Emma when we were home for Thanksgiving that we would try to go and ran out of time on that trip.  So we were really excited when she reminded us on this trip and we headed up to the park just after dark.  Emma & Cason, as usual, had a great time together!

After we left the park, we went to Mickey D's to get hot chocolate, but they were out.  So we got Oreo McFlurry's instead! YUM!  This was definitely something we will do again.  The park was beautiful, the kids were so well behaved and had a great time looking at (and playing with) all the lights.
